I relied on my energy monitoring with the power meter to get basic information about energy consumtion in the house hold by young people.
Over the break preparing myself for the project two I visited some web-sites and found them helpfull. Here are some links to the most interesting and usefull of them.
Those two were good to look at to have an idea about how much energy is used in household by each appliance. For me it was very helpfull because I didn't have chance to measure all the appliances in the house with the energy meter myself as I do not have acces to some of them (for example oven). Also here I don't have some things, which I normally use back home (such as TV, stereo, etc)

This is a helpful web-site, which gives an idea how to save energy.http://www.togetherwesave.com/Application1
This is an interesting device. What I like about it is the idea of affecting people's feelings about energy.

I also found it usefull to look at device called Thring, which was introduced on the lecture on monday. I liked the idea of using "tree-rings" because it gives the user feeling responsibility for the nature.
